Two Senior Expo Events Planned in August, Says Bashline

HARRISBURG – Rep. Josh Bashline (R-63) announced residents in Clarion and Armstrong counties aged 60 and older are invited to attend two senior expos in August.

The first one will take place on Friday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Clarion Mall, 22631 Route 68, Clarion.

The second event, in conjunction with Sen. Joe Pittman (R-41) and Rep. Abby Major (R-60), is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Kittanning Township Volunteer Fire Department, 13126 U.S. Route 422, Kittanning.

“Senior expos being together vital resources, expert guidance and a sense of community – all in one place – empowering older adults to live healthier, more connected and more independent lives,” said Bashline.

The expos will offer information about health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, financial planning, government savings, hunting and fishing, and personal safety.
